In order to further promote the resumption of work and production of enterprises and the economic recovery, and strive to achieve the goal of economic and social development this year, Xiamen Municipal People’s Government studied and issued the Notice on Eight Measures to Cope with the COVID-19 Outbreak and Promote Enterprises’ Resumption of Work and Production, in which the positive part involving exhibition enterprises includes:

Supporting the property tax and land use tax in difficulty-ridden industries. Enterprises in transportation, cultural tourism, convention and exhibition, accommodation and catering industries will be fully supported in terms of the property tax and urban land use tax paid from February to March 2020.

Providing interest discount support to small and micro-sized enterprises in difficulty-ridden industries. Small and micro-sized enterprises in transportation, cultural tourism, convention and exhibition, accommodation, catering, wholesale and retail, foreign trade and other industries will be given an interest discount at 50% of the enterprise’s actual loan interest rate (up to a maximum of one-year loan prime rate) in terms of the newly-increased (including extension) bank loans of 300,000 yuan and above occurred from January 1 to May 31, 2020, with the discount period of not more than 6 months.
