Xtep 2020 Q4 Trade Fair that lasted from April 20 to 25 was successfully held in Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center, attracting nearly 1,800 participants. At the critical stage of the COVID-19 outbreak, Xtep Group further ensured that the epidemic prevention and control work during the fair was put in place to guarantee the smooth convening of the fair.

I. Coordinating with relevant government departments to give strong support during the preparation period. Before the fair, the Siming District Government Office organized to hold a coordination meeting of Xtep trade fair in Siming District Government, attended by the District Commerce Bureau, Xiagang Street, Siming Public Security Branch, District Culture and Tourism Bureau, District Health Bureau, District Center for Disease Control, District Business Comprehensive Law Enforcement Brigade, and Xiamen Convention and Exhibition Association. At the meeting, various departments put forward guiding opinions and suggestions on the epidemic prevention and control work of the trade fair.

II. Epidemic prevention measures are in place before the fair. During the fair, Xtep invited experts from the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Siming District Center for Disease Control to evaluate the epidemic prevention work at the trade fair. Constructive suggestions were put forward centering on the setting of passages and temporary quarantine points in the venue, the health protection of public areas, the procedures of medical care for patients with fever, and disinfection, etc., forming the epidemic prevention and control plan for Xtep trade fair. Xtep completed the preparation of epidemic prevention materials one week before the fair, and set up a warehouse for epidemic prevention and control materials, which was under the supervision by the specially-assigned person; a green channel was opened for 120 ambulances; Xtep confirmed and strictly controlled the participants and the quantity, putting an end to the participation of people from high-risk areas of the epidemic and overseas personnel; Xtep also set up temporary quarantine points and arranged doctors and nurses for on-site support.

III. Xtep takes strict prevention measures and makes effective epidemic prevention during the fair.

In terms of the epidemic prevention service at the venue, the epidemic prevention working group stationed in the exhibition hall to guide and assist the epidemic prevention work of the trade fair; the service counter of the exhibition hall distributed protective masks and hotel disinfection cotton sheets every day, and disinfection supplies areas were set up in each exhibition hall, equipped with hand sanitizer and 75% alcohol disinfectant spray; the exhibition hall, restaurant and restrooms were disinfected every day; clients were required to report the body temperature data before 9:00 every day; clients took buses to the venue to measure body temperature.

In terms of the arrangement of entry circulation, participants were required to arrive at the exhibition hall in batches at a staggered time, so as to strictly control the number of people entering the venue in each batch; the entrance and exit of the exhibition hall were divided for epidemic prevention, and body temperature measurement was set up at several entrances and exits. Those who had abnormal body temperature would be immediately sent to the quarantine area, and then sent to the designated hospital with ambulance. Clients were strictly required to wear masks throughout the process. In terms of dining, it was required to have meals at fixed periods and areas, and the dining table was set with an isolation board and table number, each to accommodate 6 people. Clients were required to have meals at a fixed table according to the dining periods.
