Representatives of China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism recently announced plan to boost inter-provincial group tours.

Local representatives of the ministry noted that the resumption of inter-provincial group tours depends upon approval from both provincial and municipal CPC committees as well as the relevant government authorities.

When tours resume, travel agencies will be required to adhere to epidemic prevention and control policies and to price tours appropriately.
