The industrial internet has become a new economic ecosystem that is deeply integrated with new-generation information technology. It is expected to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and promote the sustained growth of emerging industries.

The 2020 China International Industrial Internet Innovation and Development Conference was held at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center on Sept 7. It focused on new infrastructure and new drivers of economic growth.

Sponsored by the China Institute of Communications, the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the Fujian Communications Administration, the conference is meant to celebrate the development of China's industrial internet through academic exchanges, showcasing achievements, and negotiating investment deals to attract domestic and foreign investment and promote the development of the industry.

The event consists of one main forum -- "The Belt and Road" International Industrial Internet Industry Forum, and three parallel sub-forums. China's three telecom giants were invited to display their 5G technology, communication network services, edge computing, cloud computing, big data, network application security, and encryption techniques.
