The annual Xiamen Book Fair opens in the Wuyi Culture Square on October 24.

Attendees of the two-day fair will receive a 25 percent discount on all displayed books. The fair is part of the annual Xiamen Book Festival that kicked off last week which runs through October 25.

The festival includes activities such as a series of lectures by noted authors and scholars at the Xiamen Waitu book store.

Other events include poem exhibitions and public readings of featured literary works.
