The French Consul General in Shanghai recently hosted a press conference at which representatives of the Jimei × Arles International Photo Festival announced that this year's edition will open on November 27.

Now in its sixth year, the festival will run through January 3, 2021. Photography critic and curator Gu Zheng is the art director of the festival, which will include 26 exhibitions featuring works by 87 artists from Belgium, China, France, Lithuania, Japan, Singapore and the United States.

The French version of the Arles International Photography Festival will not take place this year.
