The annual Cross-Strait Book Trade Fair kicked off last Thursday at the Xiamen Xianglu Grand Hotel. The exhibition covered 3,700 square meters and featured approximately 100,000 books produced by 400 publishers.

Representatives from more than 300 universities and public libraries joined literary agents at the fair.

This year's edition incorporated live video streaming. Activities during the event included a summit forum and an exhibition focused on the cross-Strait publishing industry as well as publication and copyright issues.
