The China Green Food Exposition 2020 Xiamen was officially unveiled at the C Hall of Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center (XICEC) on November 6, and will run through November 8.

During the same period, the China International Organic Food Expo 2020 is being held at the same venue .

Covering a total of exhibit area of 17,000 square meters, the green food expo will set up over 900 standard booths. More than 2,100 enterprises from 36 delegations across China will take part in the 3-day expo, displaying a wide range of green food products, local agricultural products, natural products, processed food products and by-products.

Meanwhile, the organic food expo will set up over 300 standard booths with an exhibit area of 6,700 square meters, attracting the participation of 393 enterprises from 25 delegations in China. Although affected by the ongoing pandemic, 17 organic food companies from Germany, Denmark, France, Australia and other countries are still taking part in this year's expo by mailing products and promotional materials, instead of coming in person.

In order to assist the country's poverty-stricken areas to seek more business opportunities, the expo has offered 15 exhibit booths for free, for delegations from Guizhou, Hubei, Hunan, Hebei, Xinjiang, Qinghai, and Tibet. It is learned that 200 companies from poverty-stricken areas have participated in the expo, accounting for 9.37% of all exhibitors.

According to the organizing committee, the total number of green food companies in China has reached 18,747 as of the end of this September. Besides, 170 million mu of standardized production bases for green food raw materials have been built nationwide, with the total output exceeding 200 million tons.

The China Green Food Exposition 2020 Xiamen is approved by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People's Republic of China, sponsored by China Green Food Development Center, China Green Food Association, Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Fujian Province, and supported by Xiamen Municipal Government.
