On December 20, 2020, the opening ceremony of the 13th China Photography Festival and the City of Swan - the forth China Sanmenxia Natural Ecology International Photography Exhibition and the Award Ceremony of Golden Statue Award for China Photography were grandly held in Sanmenxia International Cultural Expo City. Representatives of Xiamen Convention and Exhibition Association were invited to participate.

It is understood that the China Photography Festival is the earliest, long-lasting, and influential photography festival in China approved by the central government. As the most important brand event hosted by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Chinese Photographers Association, it plays an important role in leading creation, recommending talents, and promoting communication. Founded in 1989, the China Photography Festival has been successfully held for 12 sessions. In 2018, the 12th China Photography Festival was successfully held in Sanmenxia for the first time. Sanmenxia ’s rich photographic resources and mature experience in holding large-scale events have been widely praised by the photography industry and people from all sectors of society. This China Photography Festival is co-sponsored by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Publicity Department of the Henan Provincial Party Committee, and the Chinese Photographers Association; it is organized by the Henan Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Sanmenxia Municipal People's Government. “The Award and The Festival”, the highest standard of Chinese photography landed on the fertile soil of the Central Plains once again, and opened a decade of the new era of imaging.

Mr. Chen Maosheng, head of member unit of Xiamen Convention and Exhibition Association and famous photographic artist, won the "Golden Statue Award for China Photography ". He is the only photographer in Xiamen who has won this award for many years.
