CIFIT set to open on September 8

Representatives of the China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) announced last week that the event will kick off on September 8. China's Ministry of Commerce is sponsoring this year's edition.
Representatives of CIFIT said that the four-day event will include an exhibition area entitled BRICS New Industrial Revolution. The area is intended to focus on new industries, technologies and forms of business. It will also showcase economic cooperation amongst BRICS countries and organizations and highlight industrial cooperation.
Countries associated with the Belt and Road Initiative and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership will also participate in the expo.
Other exhibition areas focus on free trade ports, pilot free trade zones and Silk Road shipping. There will also be a series of investment presentations to promote bilateral and multilateral investment cooperation and exchange.
