In order to further strengthen the exchanges and cooperation in the MICE industry between Xiamen and Ningxia, from April 23 to 24, Jiang Meiyue, member of the Party Organization of Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Zheng Zhi, President of Xiamen Convention and Exhibition Association, and representatives of some member units of the Association went to Ningxia to carry out the exchange activities.

The representatives from Xiamen visited the relevant departments and enterprises including Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region's Bureau of Expo, Yinchuan Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Ningxia Convention and Exhibition Association, had discussion with related person in charge, and obtained a detailed understanding of the development environment and achievement of Ningxia convention and exhibition industry. Wang Weihuan, staff of Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, who is currently working on secondment as deputy head of Yongning County People's Government and Deputy Secretary of Minning Party committee, attended the meeting. The participants had candid, constructive and helpful exchanges on the holding of the China Arab Expo, CIFIT and Xiamen International MICE Week, as well as the exhibition economic cooperation between Fujian and Ningxia. The two sides said that they would spare no effort to promote economic and trade cooperation between Fujian and Ningxia, boost two-way exchanges of exhibitions and achieve common prosperity.
