Construction Begins on Xiamen New Convention and Exhibition Center

City officials last week announced that construction officially began recently on the upcoming Xiamen New Convention and Exhibition Center, which is located in Xiangan. Scheduled for completion in 2023, the project officially commenced a month early with the lifting of steel infrastructure for the new facility.
In addition to exhibition and conference space, the project includes a hotel and a coastal exhibition set. The 15-billion-yuan project covers a total land area of 846,700 square meters and a total construction area of 1,159,200 square meters.
