The Xiamen Xiangan First Southern Fujian Culture - Wind God Fengshiye Art Festival kicks off this year on September 19 at the Chao Kuang Art Museum in Xiangan.

The 12-day festival will feature an exhibition, a collection of artwork and an awards ceremony as well as a series of academic activities.

Event organizers also announced a call for the submission of sculptures that feature the wind god Fengshiye to be displayed during the festival.

Artists can submit sculptures for consideration through the end of August via the official 厦门市翔安区闽南文化研究会 WeChat account.
