Xiamen Convention and Exhibition Association held “Xiamen MICE Industry Promotion and Marketing Symposium”

On the afternoon of July 16, Xiamen Convention and Exhibition Association held “Xiamen MICE Industry Promotion and Marketing Symposium” in Fliport Wutong Hotel, with the guidance of Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce (Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Convention and Exhibition). Head of marketing and relevant staff of nearly 40 key convention and exhibition enterprises and conference hotels as well as the association secretariat attended the meeting. The symposium discussed how to use existing resources to innovate development models and do a great job in publicity and marketing of local MICE industry.
President Zheng Zhi presided over the meeting. He stressed that the Xiamen Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Government, and Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce (Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Convention and Exhibition) have attached great importance to the introduction of conferences and exhibitions, and are formulating a development plan for MICE industry chain. Since the beginning of this year XIAMEN has made achievements in introduction of conferences and exhibitions, while there is still a certain gap in the total scale of conferences and exhibitions compared with 2019. At the current stage, various cities are paying attention to the MICE industry and the market is fiercely competitive. How to break through adversity, restore or even exceed the level of 2019? He called for giving full play to the role of publicity and marketing, promoting expression and exchange of different ideas and opinions.
Head of marketing and relevant staff of related enterprises highly praised the marketing and promotion work organized by Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce (Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Convention and Exhibition) and Xiamen Convention and Exhibition Association. They expressed opinions on how to improve the publicity and marketing work.
President Zheng Zhi hopes that through the joint effort of MICE people, the publicity of Xiamen MICE industry would be more attractive and effective; new measures would be taken to strive for new development.
