The annual China International Fair for Investment and Trade opens today in Xiamen. This year's edition of CIFIT includes participants from more than 40 countries and international organizations along with 32 member units.

The Philippines is the guest country of honor for the second consecutive year. The country's 420-square-meter exhibition area showcases its investment environment, opportunities and current policies. A range of investor services and product displays are available at the exhibit.

The country's Make It Happen in the Philippines campaign aims to attract investment in the areas of manufacturing, digital technologies, agribusiness, real estate, renewable energy and infrastructure, according to Secretary of Trade and Industry Ramon Lopez.

“More than just a one-stop shopping service for multilateral investment cooperation, CIFIT will also help you to select from the widest range of investment projects and business partners from around the world," said Mr. Lopez.

This year's guest province of honor is Qinghai, which is hosting a 500-square-meter exhibition showcasing roughly 40 brand-name enterprises and products.
