Construction of Xiamen BRICS Innovation Base made progress

On the morning of October 20, Xiamen BRICS Innovation Base hosted a plaque granting ceremony for "Xiamen BRICS New Industry Capability Promotion and Training Base Alliance". Five institutions became the first batch of licensed member units, including Xiamen University, Huaqiao University, Xiamen Technical College, Xiamen Ocean Vocational College, and Xiamen City University. By exerting their respective expertise, these five licensed institutions will develop multi-lingual online and in-person vocational education and training programs in line with the development needs of BRICS countries, and train talents in multiple levels and sectors. Academic institutions will lead the operation of this Alliance, while enterprises join it subsequently. At the end of this month, the Base will hold an intellectual property training workshop for BRICS countries. Next month, the Belt & Road and BRICS Skills Development & Technology Innovation Competition will be held in Xiamen.
