On November 16, the unveiling ceremony of the BRICS New Industrial Capacity Improvement Training Base (Xiamen University) was held at Xiamen University. Locating the training base at Xiamen University will help avail Xiamen University of its advantages in the improvement and training of new industrial capacities, facilitate the BRICS Innovation Base to develop a world-renowned BRICS new industrial capacity improvement and education system and a flagship brand aligned with high standards, establish a talent development and exchange platform among BRICS nations and deepen the cooperation with BRICS and BRICS+ nations. Besides Xiamen University, Huaqiao University and other academies were also admitted into the previously-founded Xiamen BRICS New Industrial Capacity Improvement Training Base Alliance. On November 17, the International Academic Seminar for BRICS and "BRICS+" Cooperation was held online, drawing 17 foreign experts and scholars from 12 countries. On November 17, BRICS Future Innovation Park was formally unveiled in Jimei Software Park (Phase III), Xiamen, where a contract-signing ceremony was held for the first batch of projects that had settled down at the park.
