2021 RCEP Young Overseas Chinese Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit launched

On December 27, the 2021 RCEP Young Overseas Chinese Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit was launched, in which experts, scholars, and young Chinese overseas business persons from many countries discussed the prospects and opportunities in regional economic cooperation in online and offline sessions. Xiamen Delegation attended the Summit and introduced its investment environment. On January 1, 2022, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) will officially take effect. Its members include China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and ten ASEAN nations, marking the formation of the free trade zone with the largest population in the world, the largest economic and trade scale, and the most promising potential. Upon the validation of RCEP, this Summit is the first regional cooperation forum for economy and trade and a matchmaking event to better serve the innovation and entrepreneurship of Fujian-based young overseas Chinese. In recent years, RCEP member nations have been taking a mounting proportion in the import and export market of Xiamen. The ASEAN was already the largest trade partner of Xiamen in the first ten months this year.
