BRICS conference focused on covid-19

China recently hosted a conference delving into the use of big data and artificial technology in the battle against covid-19. The BRICS Nation Big-Data-Assisted Accurate Epidemic Prevention and Talent Cultivation Forum was livestreamed both in Chinese and English.
Subtopics included the use of digital technologies, artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing to prevent and control covid-19 outbreaks.
Approximately 51,000 online participants from nine countries participated in the forum. Attendees hailed from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS) as well as the Czech Republic, Indonesia, the Philippines, and the United States.
