On April 13, Chen Min, Director General of Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Chen Haoying, Deputy Director General of Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, visited Xiamen Convention and Exhibition Association and listened to the report of Zheng Zhi, President of Xiamen Convention and Exhibition Association, on the main work of the association and the next work plan.

Director Chen Min fully affirmed the active and important role of the Association in the development of Xiamen MICE industry, and proposed five requirements:

Firstly, the Association is required to commit itself to the research and formulation of the talent evaluation standards for the MICE industry, to innovate the talent evaluation pattern, and to improve the talent evaluation level of the industry

Secondly, further play the role of serving the government and the enterprises as  bridge and bond, and make greater contributions to the MICE industry.

Thirdly, strengthen the operation of information Website of Xiamen Convention & Exhibition industry and its English website, make good use of the association staff with English skill, expand international vision and foreign communication and exchanges, and strengthen cooperation with BRICS and countries along the Belt and Road.

Fourthly, make sure the re-election of the association goes smoothly.

Finally, connect with the China Electronic Chamber of Commerce to ensure the smooth landing of the China Live E-commerce Conference at the end of the year.
