Return of the Master art exhibition debuts in Xiamen

The Art Museum of China Profiles at 66 Shapowei recently debuted a new exhibition entitled Return of the Master: Feng Zikai's Minnan Story. The exhibit runs through June 19 and admission is free.
A pioneer of modern Chinese cartoons, Feng Zikai lived from 1898 to 1975. The artist was renowned for his cartoons and essays, which represented a convergence of Chinese and Western painting styles.
The exhibition includes more than 100 items related to Feng Zikai, including paintings, music scores, manuscripts and letters.
The exhibition also features 10 artworks by Feng Yiyin, the daughter of Feng Zikai, as well as essays and other items from family members and art scholars.
