Xiamen Trading Group signed contracts for 11 projects at the fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE), which concluded in Shanghai on Nov 10.

The projects cover various fields such as cross-border e-commerce, agricultural products, and healthcare.

Xiamen C&D Paper and Pulp Co reached a new strategic cooperative agreement with Ilim Pulp Enterprise, a global leader in pulp and paper industry. The accumulated transaction value of pulp imports between the two companies has reached 23 billion yuan ($3.21 billion).

Xiangyu Group signed a strategic cooperative agreement with the Xiamen Branch of China Pacific Insurance Co to establish a cross-border e-commerce insurance innovation base that offers solutions for the transformation and upgrading of Xiamen's cross-border e-commerce industry, cyber security, and risk guarantees.

In addition, Xiamen Trading Group was seeking more business cooperation opportunities at the fifth CIIE by docking with other exhibitors and companies in Shanghai and surrounding areas.
