The "engine" of Xiamen's MICE industries is about to enter high-speed mode. From March 10th to 12th, the first Cat Economy Industry Expo (CEIE) will be held at the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center, marking the start of a busy exhibition season this month. It is understood that many exhibitions in Xiamen are still in the preliminary preparation stage, and the boom will start from June. Xiamen will strengthen the integration of "exhibition plus industry" and promote the overall exhibition scale to exceed that of 2019 by 2023. As of now, Xiamen has more than 60 reserved exhibition projects this year, with a total exhibition area of nearly 2 million square meters. In the future, with the commissioning of Phase V of the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center and the Xiamen Convention and Exhibition Center, as well as the linkage of "double exhibitions" inside and outside the island, it will bring greater exhibition space. This year, Xiamen will focus on the "4+4+6" modern industrial system of Xiamen City and strive to hold a professional international exhibition for each key advantageous industry.
