77 projects worth 281b yuan signed at cross-Strait cultural industries fair

Deals on 77 projects with a total contract amount reaching 281.11 billion yuan ($38.97 billion) were signed at the 14th Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair, which took place in Xiamen, Fujian province, from Aug 4 to 7.
The projects covered multiple areas in the cultural industry, such as the international film industrial base, the cross-Strait cultural and artworks trading platform, the workshop wooden art furniture exhibition hall, and the Blossom House project.
During the fair, Xiamen Media Group also signed a series of significant projects to enhance collaboration with companies like Cloudwalk, Crowddigital, Wmusic, and 51CTO. These partnerships are to establish their presence in the China (Xiamen) Intelligent Audio-Visual Industry Base.
The cooperation involves the integration of culture and technology and the joint development in the fields of artificial intelligence, industrial internet, meta-verse empowerment center, and cultural big data.
A number of tentative agreements on cooperation projects were also reached at the fair, including the surging sports experience project, CPOP's street dance trend base project, and iOi Xiamen digital art industrial park, with a combined amount of about 5 billion yuan.
In addition, the fair set up a sub-venue in Weina Digital Art Industry Park in the Jimei district in Xiamen, where a batch of cultural industry projects were inked. A series of art exhibitions were also held , injecting vigorous industrial momentum and artistic vitality into the Jimei district's construction.
