Local authorities announced last week that the second phase of the Exhibition Center Section of the Xiamen International Expo Center successfully passed a joint acceptance inspection last month.

The inspection included the center’s 11 exhibition halls, entrance halls, central corridor and basement. The 300,000-square-meter will soon begin operations.

First announced in 2021, the first phase of the Xiamen International Expo Center debuted this August. Seven exhibition halls and a pair of hotels for the second phase are complete.
