Gulangyu hosts exhibit of musical instruments from the imperial court

The Kulangsu Gallery of Foreign Artefacts from the Palace Museum Collection last week debuted a new exhibition entitled The Sound of Harmony. The exhibition features musical instruments of the imperial court from the Palace Museum collection. The exhibit includes more than 40 musical instruments dating from the Spring and Autumn Period up through the Qing dynasty, collectively spanning 3,000 years. The exhibition runs through July 20. |
