Xiamen recently made it onto the list of the 2023 top 10 domestic cities for tourist satisfaction and ranks at 3rd place, according to a survey carried out by the China Tourism Academy.

The top 10 domestic cities for tourist satisfaction in 2023 are Suzhou, Hangzhou, Xiamen, Kunming, Chongqing, Qingdao, Xi'an, Nanjing, Beijing, Shenyang.

Statistics show that Xiamen's tourism industry received a total number of tourists nearly 110 million in 2023, up 67 percent from the previous year, which hits a record high.

The total tourism revenue exceeded 156.7 billion yuan in 2023, ranking first among the Fujian province with a year-on-year growth of 83 percent.
