Xiamen firms announce $250M+ in deals at the Canton Fair

The annual China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) wrapped up in Guangzhou earlier this month. Officials from the Xiamen Import and Export Chamber of Commerce said that Xiamen-based firms notched a total turnover of more than $250 million at the fair, up 8.7 percent over the prior year. This year's Canton Fair features more than 550 Xiamen enterprises, including 18 first- time participants. Xiamen-based companies occupied more than 1,800 booths, a total that included more than 350 branded booths.
