Xiamen secures significant deals at CIFIT

On September 8, during the signing ceremony for major projects at the 24th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), the Xiamen delegation achieved remarkable results, securing 13 major investment projects with a total investment of 35.3 billion yuan. For the third consecutive year, Xiamen led the province in both the number of signed projects and the total investment amount. The signed projects include six major foreign-funded ventures, spanning advanced manufacturing, healthcare, the internet, and modern services, with a total investment of 13.4 billion yuan. A key highlight was the strategic emerging industries and future industries, including third-generation semiconductors, new energy, and new materials. Companies like Silan Microelectronics, leading new energy firm GCL Group, and the national "Little Giant" specialized and innovative enterprise Zhongke Hualian are set to establish production lines in Xiamen. Additionally, flagship projects showed strong leadership, with Anta Group, a leader in China's sportswear industry, planning to invest 4 billion yuan to build the Xiamen Anta Sports Park. CR Beer intends to expand its Xiamen plant with a second phase project for an annual production of 400,000 kiloliters of beer. The projects also underscored the role of financial capital in driving industrial development, with several financial institutions setting up funds in Xiamen to invest in new infrastructure, key industrial parks, and strategic emerging industries like semiconductors, new materials, electronic information, new energy, and biomedicine.
