The 24th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) will open on September 8th in Xiamen, a coastal city in Southeast China's Fujian Province. Designed to promote the implementation of the Global Development Initiative and serve the Belt and Road cooperation, this year's CIFIT has extended invitations to government agencies, industrial organizations, and quality companies from around the world, with delegations from more than 90 countries, regions, and international organizations confirmed to attend.

This year's CIFIT will center around the theme of advancing high-level opening-up. The event will feature specialized activities focused on multinational corporations and international financial capital. Additionally, significant measures for further enhanced opening-up will also be announced during the event. 

An exchange event on the World Trade Organization investment facilitation will be held to advance trade and investment liberalization and facilitation efforts. The central exhibition area will showcase China's policies and achievements in both inbound and outbound investment, as well as its contributions to global development cooperation.

Authoritative reports on the inbound and outbound investment, such as the China Two-way Investment Development Report 2024, will be released, providing professional public good for global investment cooperation.

This year's CIFIT will not only feature numerous multinational companies but also attract a group of overseas hidden champion enterprises.

The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) highlights this year's CIFIT. Delegations from over 90 countries and regions have confirmed to participate in the event. Approximately 80 percent of them come from BRI partners. 

As a result, the fair will organize specialized activities that focus on the high-quality development of the BRI, with a key emphasis on promoting international cooperation in green development, digital economy, artificial intelligence, new energy, and finance.
