The "World Business Leaders Discuss Global Investment" event of the Gulangyu Forum 2024 was held at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center on Sept 7.

It is an important part of the 24th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), taking place from Sept 8 to 11 in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, and evolved from the 22 successful editions of the "World Business Leaders Roundtable." It has contributed business wisdom to the "Investment Connecting the World" event.

The forum, subtitled "Investment Strategies in the Context of Globalization," invited important guests such as Chinese foreign diplomats, representatives of domestic and international trade and investment promotion agencies, chambers of commerce, and overseas industrial parks, and internationally renowned corporate figures.

Focusing on the topic "Investing in China: Decoding Unlimited Business Opportunities and Creating a Brilliant Future," the discussions delved into new pathways, challenges, and regulations related to two-way investments. The forum provided recommendations, fostered consensus, and aimed to become a platform for global entrepreneurs to interact and collaborate, with the goal of achieving mutually beneficial development.

Gabor Jenei, director of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency, said that the CIFIT provides a great opportunity for Hungary to showcase its economic and technological capabilities. He hopes to strengthen cooperation with China, an important trade partner for Hungary, through this year's CIFIT , while also aiming to attract more trade partners and investment cooperation from China and around the world.

Meanwhile, several signing ceremonies took place on-site, including cooperation agreements between the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Xiamen Committee (CCPIT), the Brazilian Sino Mining Association (ASBM), and other overseas economic and trade cooperation organizations, further facilitating international cooperation and exchanges between Chinese business associations and overseas economic and trade organizations.
