Xiamen secures major deals at CIFIT

The Xiamen delegation at the China International Fair for Investment and Trade last week hosted a signing ceremony for 13 newly-announced major projects. The announcements included a total investment of 35.3 billion yuan.
Xiamen led Fujian for the third consecutive year in both the number of signed projects and the total investment amount. The signed projects include six major foreign-funded ventures featuring a total investment of 13.4 billion yuan spanning the advanced manufacturing, healthcare, internet and modern services industries.
New projects also included investments in strategic emerging and future industries such as third-generation semiconductors, new energy and new materials. Companies announcing new production lines in Xiamen include Silan Microelectronics, the GCL Group and Zhongke Hualian.
Additionally, Anta Group plans to invest four billion yuan in its Xiamen Anta Sports Park. CR Beer intends to expand its Xiamen plant with an expansion project for an annual production of 400,000 kiloliters of beer.
