The 2024 Dream of Ocean International Contemporary Art Exhibition was unveiled at the Nordic Contemporary Art Center (NAC) in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province on November 2 and will run through December 28. 

As one of the supporting events of the "ocean culture carnival" during the EAS Congress 2024 & 2024 World Ocean Week in Xiamen , the exhibition is showcasing a wide range of ocean-related art works by 35 artists from China, Thailand, the Philippines, Australia, the Unitie States, Germany and France. 

At the exhibition, a dolphin model has attracted many visitors. The work was created by artists from China, Germany, and the Philippines. 

Inspired by the image of dolphin, the three-meter-tall art piece is made from nearly 2,000 waste cans, echoing the unique ecological status of Xiamen as the habitat of the Chinese white dolphin. 

The exhibition, hosted by Xiamen Marine International Cooperation Center and the Nordic Contemporary Art Center in Xiamen, seeks to boost maritime artistic and cultural exchanges between China and the world, as well as to raise public awareness of marine conservation.
