Xiamen is in the midst of hosting a series of events and conventions this month. Both the spring edition of the China Xiamen Tea Fair and the China Xiamen International Buddhist Items and Crafts Fair open this Friday at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center. Xiamen International MICE Week kicks off on April 25, also at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center.

City officials said that the events build on Xiamen's MICE Plus Industry strategy. Officials added that Xiamen hosted 26 exhibitions with a total area of approximately 330,000 square meters in the first quarter of the year.
