The Xiamen Industrial Exposition and the 29th Cross-Strait Machinery and Electronics Commodity Fair opened at the Xiamen International Expo Center last Friday. Nearly 100,000 people participated in the four-day expo.

The total exhibition area covered about 76,000 square meters, with approximately 3,200 standard booths. More than 800 domestic and international exhibitors attended the event, which also included 20 forums and industrial matching activities.

The industrial expo featured exhibition areas in fields of industrial automation, additive manufacturing, plastic industry and metal processing. Other featured products and services included Taiwan machinery and electronics products as well as themed exhibition areas of electronic information, new energy and intelligent construction.

Auxiliary activities included the Strait Industrial Forum, the Fujian Construction Industry Intelligent Construction and Digitalization Conference, the 3D Printing Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Forum, the Second Xiamen International New Energy Development Conference and supply-and-demand matching sessions for the equipment manufacturing industry.
