Xiamen and eight tourist cities launch visa-free transit program

Xiamen joined with eight tourist-centric areas of China to launch a 10-day visa-free transit program for foreign travelers. Both Xiamen's airport and seaport are part of the new program. The other participants include Guiyang, Guilin, Nanping, Shenyang, Shenzhen, Suining, Taiyuan and Xiangxi. The announcement took place during the Strait Travel Fair, which was held contemporaneously with the China (Xiamen) International Leisure Tourism Expo. |
