Xiamen will host a talent exchange and matchmaking conference on August 12. More than 20 overseas-educated PhDs or post-doctoral researchers will attend the conference and discuss projects in areas such as new-generation information technology, integrated circuits and biopharmaceuticals.

In recent years Xiamen has expanded its services for international professionals, introducing multiple measures to enhance the city's appeal as a global talent hub. With a talent pool of 1.7 million working-age residents, including more than 60,000 international professionals, Xiamen has been named China's Best Talent-Attracting City for four consecutive years.
