The Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center last Sunday hosted the Global Business Leaders Roundtable for International Investment, a key part of Gulangyu Forum 2025.

The forum focused on tariff challenges and the promotion of stable economic development. It highlighted key areas of global investment such as industrial structure evolution, breakthroughs in technological innovation and the transition to green and low-carbon development.

Attendees included foreign diplomats stationed in China, representatives of international organizations, domestic and international trade and investment promotion agencies, business associations and overseas industrial park representatives as well as executives of internationally renowned companies and experts and scholars.

Discussions centered on global economic trends and investment directions, the impact of tariff policies and the restructuring of industrial chains. The forum was hosted by the Xiamen Municipal People’s Government.
