Turkey grants visa-free entry to Chinese tourists

Turkey implemented earlier this year a visa-free entry policy for Chinese citizens holding ordinary passports. Tourists can visit for short-term tourism and transit stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Data released by Turkey indicated that Chinese tourist visits jumped 65 percent year-on-year in 2024 on the strength of new flight routes and a booming interest in Turkey's cultural attractions. |
