From May 26 to 29, the 2026 BRICS Forum on Partnership on New Industrial Evolution and related events will take place in Xiamen. Representatives from 25 countries and relevant international organizations have confirmed attendance. This year's forum will focus on front-edge focal topics in smart manufacturing, share policy experiences and beneficial practices on smart manufacturing, and jointly cultivate a smart manufacturing industrial ecosystem. The BRICS Forum on Partnership on New Industrial Evolution was launched in 2019 and has been held in Xiamen for the seventh consecutive year since 2020. Since 2022, the forum has been incorporated into official BRICS activities, becoming an annual grand gathering for policy exchange, experience sharing, and industrial matchmaking in the field of the new industrial revolution among BRICS countries. It has been included in several BRICS Summit Declarations and the Declarations of the BRICS Industry Ministers Meeting, receiving high recognition from all BRICS members. The current forum will include the opening ceremony, main forum, sub-forums, and other related sessions. Concurrently, supporting activities will be held, including the awards ceremony of the BRICS Industrial Innovation Contest, the BRICS Exhibition on the New Industrial Revolution, and the BRICS New Industry "Golden Egret" Excellence Scholarship training program.
