First look at 26th CIFIT's exhibition zones

The 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) will make its debut at the Xiamen International Expo Center from Sept 8 to 11 this year, with a total exhibition area of 200,000 square meters.

The financial zone will be expanded from 10,000 to 25,000 sq m, and the capital project matchmaking area will double in size.

The fair has strengthened its two?way investment focus, reinforcing its role as a flagship "Invest in China" event while also enlarging the pavilion for Chinese outbound investment.

Special exhibition zones will be set up for AI, biotechnology, and new energy, putting the spotlight on the most dynamic growth sectors.

Global Cooperation Area

The area located in Hall 6, will showcase business environments, specialized industries, cutting-edge technologies, and key overseas cooperation projects. More than 30 countries and regions, including Finland, Germany, and Italy, have already confirmed their participation. International organizations and Chinese companies with overseas operations will highlight their contributions to global development, with a special focus on the healthcare and coffee industries.

The General Administration of Customs plans to set up a booth at the fair to showcase its "Smart Customs" initiatives, inviting leading enterprises to demonstrate innovations in intelligent customs clearance and share cutting-edge practices from industries such as aviation maintenance.

A dedicated promotion and roadshow area will be set up within the exhibition zone, utilizing the "Hailian Reception Hall" brand to host multiple promotional events that will spotlight key regions for outbound investment.

Chinese Provinces and Cities Promotion Area

Located in Hall 4 of the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), this area highlights the key industries and innovative projects that best define each region's character, showcasing local business environments to attract domestic and international investors. It also includes a Cross-Strait Integrated Development Zone, a China Association of Development Zones pavilion, and dedicated roadshow and matchmaking zones to facilitate investment discussions.

Finance and Capital Matchmaking Area

Located in Hall 5 of the 26th CIFIT, this area brings together 67 organizations — including central banks, securities regulators, sovereign wealth funds, policy banks, stock exchanges, financial associations, fund and financial institutions, listed companies and industrial firms — to promote cross-border investment and capital-industry integration. Public roadshows and matchmaking zones are also available on site.

International Investment Services (CIPS) Area

Located in Hall 6 of the 26th CIFIT, this area has moved its flagship CIPS Enterprise-Bank Cooperation (CEBEC) event from Shanghai to CIFIT for the first time. The area brings together systemically important global banks and regional mainstream banks to showcase CIPS developments and cross-border RMB service capabilities. It also invites Chinese "going global" enterprises to participate in dedicated bank-enterprise sessions, creating a platform for connectivity and cooperation that facilitates cross-border RMB use and supports the high-quality development of the real economy.

Premium Goods Collection Area

Located in Hall 8 of the 26th CIFIT, this area is a new themed consumer zone built around the concept of "Bringing Merchants Together, Sharing Quality Products". It serves as a one-stop global sourcing platform, bringing together nearly 100,000 high-end domestic and international buyers and exhibitors to connect production with sales across both domestic and international markets.

New Quality Productive Forces Area

The area is located in Hall 2 at the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), featuring AI, low-altitude economy, digital-industrial integration, and industrial internet, with interactive displays of robotics, drones, cloud computing, and smart factories. Backed by a top-tier platform, it connects 138 countries and regions with over 100,000 global visitors, attracts more than 1,500 investment institutions, and uses immersive demos to drive business talks, along with summits, matchmaking, and pitch sessions.

International Engineering Supply Chain Area

The area is located in Hall 3 and showcases new technologies and integrated solutions across engineering, building materials, smart construction, renewable energy, and overseas project services. It connects with Belt and Road markets and draws over 3,000 procurement buyers to expand cross-border trade. Industry forums provide market insights, while matchmaking sessions and compliance training streamline partnerships. Global media coverage helps exhibitors boost their international presence.

The area is located in Hall 1 and showcases AI-powered security, compliance consulting, cross-border dispute resolution, and emergency response. It hosts summits, signing ceremonies, and VIP networking, with support for international exhibitors. The area serves as a hub connecting Xiamen with Maritime Silk Road markets for technology displays, deal-making, and policy dialogue.

"Envisioning the Future" Capital and Project Matchmaking Hall

The area is located in Hall 1 and spans 15,000 square meters and is co-hosted with the China International Investment Promotion Agency. Organized around 10 industry tracks — including AI, smart manufacturing, new energy, and healthcare — it connects investors with high-potential projects. The area features an investment hotspot pavilion and provides spaces for roadshows, matchmaking, and networking throughout the fair.

The area is located in Hall 8 and is a consumer-focused exhibition area offering a one-stop global sourcing platform that connects nearly 100,000 buyers and streamlines domestic-international trade channels.
