The 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) has, for the first time, designated dual guest countries of honor, Finland and Saudi Arabia, and dual guest provinces of honor, Guangdong and Qinghai. The dual-guest-country arrangement underscores CIFIT's growing international appeal and its distinctive role in facilitating two-way investment. To date, delegations from 123 countries and regions have registered to participate, and 60 countries and regions will set up exhibition pavilions. Finland will leverage CIFIT's two-way investment platform to build new bridges for China-Finland industrial cooperation and people-to-people exchanges. The China-Finland economic and trade cooperation exchange will simultaneously promote both sides' investment policies and industrial strengths, invite enterprise representatives from both countries to share development opportunities, and lay the groundwork for subsequent specialized industrial matchmaking. Finland will also hold economic and trade cooperation exchanges with Fujian and Guangdong provinces respectively to deepen industrial dialogue and investment collaboration. The year 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Saudi Arabia comprehensive strategic partnership. This year, Saudi Arabia will focus on promoting investment opportunities across multiple fields, including advanced manufacturing, energy, petrochemicals and downstream processing, mining and metals, as well as information and communications technology and digital infrastructure. At this year's CIFIT, the Saudi Arabia Pavilion will comprehensively showcase the country's investment ecosystem and the full investment cycle. Official institutions will interpret the national investment strategy, priority development areas, regulatory framework, incentive policies, and supporting services.
