Asian Federation of Exhibition & Convention Associations (AFECA) 17th Board Meeting Held in Chiang Mai--- Xiamen To Host the 2016 AFECA Annual General Meeting (AGM)

AFECA 17th Board Meeting was held on February 24, 2016 in Shangri-La Hotel Chiang Mai, Thailand. Seventeen board members attended the meeting and unanimously approved Xiamen to host the 2016 AFECA AGM on November 7 & 8, 2016 in parallel with the 2016 Cross Strait Four Regions (Xiamen) Forum on Exhibition Cooperation. AFECA Asia MICE Youth Challenge will be organized along with AGM. Board Members offered suggestions on development of Asian MICE Industry. Mr. Zheng Zhi, President of Xiamen Convention & Exhibition Association, introduced the Xiamen MICE profile and said he will do his best to promote AFEECA’s development in the mainland of China. Mr. Zheng also said he will recommend convention & exhibition associations coming from the mainland of China to join AFECA. He expressed his determination to offer active cooperation for AFECA AGM and promote Xiamen’s cooperation with AFECA.
