CIFIT hosts business promotion roadshow in Shaanxi to drum up support

Organizers of the China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) hosted a series of business promotion events across cities in Shaanxi from April 26-28.
 Yang Shaojing, deputy director of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Convention and Exhibition Affairs, took part in the “Invest Across China” events alongside corporate representatives from Taiwan, Fujian and Beijing. Yang also introduced preparatory work being done for this year’s fair and upgrades being made.
Business promotion agencies from Shaanxi province and cities such as Yan’an, An’kang, Baoji and Yangling joined the events to promote major investment projects.
 Industries best representative of Shaanxi, such as farm produce processing, tourism, Chinese herbal medicine and new energy were introduced during field visits to the Xi’an International Trade and Logistics Park and development zones in Xianyang, Weinan and other cities.
 Deputy inspector of Shaanxi’s provincial commerce department, Feng Baoan, talked about the province’s business environment during the events.
CICC Wealth Management, a business arm of China International Capital Corporation, expressed an interest in the hot spring resort project in Baoji city as a result of the promotional events.
CIFIT is an annual event organized by the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Convention and Exhibition Affairs and held in Xiamen, Fujian province in September.
