Leisure agriculture in Taiwan
Leisure agriculture was introduced to Taiwan back in the early 1980s and has gradually encompassed a variety of business models such as forest tours, educational programs, environment protection projects and folk culture experiences.
Taiwan now has 1,300 leisure farms that offer at least 200,000 job opportunities. And the industry has become an important part of the province’s local economy and carries a lot of weight in its economic growth.
