The latest technological innovations in advanced manufacturing, software design and the renewable energy and creative industries will be displayed at this year’s CIFIT to highlight the Internet Plus sector.

The innovations will be shown at the so-called Platform for Cooperation of Talent and Capital, a side event of CIFIT reserved for creative talent in China to showcase products and problem-solving solutions. They will go on show at a designated 600-square-meter exhibition at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center alongside the main fair.

If the dazzling technological exhibitions aren’t enough, the event also includes a match making session on the morning of Sept 8. The 15 winning projects of the Xiamen section of the fifth China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition will put their ideas to the test against venture capitals in the hope of securing investment.

After the match making session, a set of policies will be released aimed at encouraging entrepreneurship and guiding industrial development. Start-ups and major market players are welcome to seek business partners there.

On the morning of Sept 9, a dozen of select entrepreneurial teams will present their projects in a bid to raise funds among known venture capitals, powerful state owned enterprises and wealthy private companies slated to be in attendance.

The afternoon session of Sept 9 will see 10 to 15 newly-crafted products and problem-solving solutions undergo examination and receive appraisals from a select group of technological experts. This products release is expected to attract investment agencies nationwide.

On Sept 10 and 11, the organizer has arranged 30 to 40 project presentations that are open to companies, investors, dealers and distributors worldwide.
