An artist’s impression of the Air China booth set to go on show at the 19th CIFIT in Xiamen, Fujian

CIFIT’s sole airline partner for the last seven years, Air China, will set up a “Sky City” exhibition at this year’s fair.

The exhibition space will be decorated with clouds to give the impression of the exhibition booth being at a high altitude. The artful, modern design of the booth was adopted to create a relaxing ambience that resembles the cordial service the airline provides.

Virtual dressing devices will be installed on the site, enabling visitors to see how they would look in an Air China flight attendant or pilot uniform and have their photo printed.

Air China has been practicing green development strategies for years and was the first Chinese airline to provide digital mileage notices and encourage the use of it by offering mileage awards.

This year the airline will introduce China’s first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. While offering more seats and having a longer flight range, the aircraft is said to use 20 percent less fuel than many other commercial airplanes of the same size.

More promotional events helping visitors to get to know the airline’s previous achievements and future development strategies will be hosted at the site.
