Northern Fujian county to seek investors at CIFIT
2016/9/7
Songxi county in Fujian province will send representatives to this year’s CIFIT to seek business partners for industrial projects worth $90 million. The country stuck up a deal with Xiamen Water Co at last year’s fair, enabling it to improve the quality and scale of water supply services for its residents. The success prompted county officials to bring three new investment projects to the fair in September. Located southeast of the renowned tea growing area of Mount Wuyi, Songxi has the capabilities to develop its tea processing industry. As such, plans have been made to add 10 green tea processing lines which will have a total capacity of 10,000 tons. The products will be exported to African countries and requires 200 million yuan of investment in total. Another project seeking investment is a PET bottle flake production line, which authorities hope to secure 300 million yuan to install. The production line will be capable of achieving a 500 million yuan annual output value. Songxi also plans to introduce the Taiwan-based hypermarket chain RT-MART and build a 6,000-square-meter shopping center combining supermarket and retailing businesses. The project requires a 100 million yuan investment, which authorities hope to secure at CIFIT. |
