AmCham South China, 14 year veteran of CIFIT

The American Chamber of Commerce in South China (AmCham South China), attended its fourteenth China International Fair for Investment and Trade this year.
This made the organization a veteran participant in the international investment event, which has grown into one of the largest of its kind in the world since its inception in 1997.
Harley Seyedin, president of AmCham South China, led this year’s delegation, consisting of a powerful team that included some 150 executives from multinational companies.
The delegates met with government officials from the northern province of Hebei, Fujian of the southeast coastline and southern province Jiangxi to talk about the possibilities of cooperation.
The delegation hosted a forum on investment in healthcare during the three day period of fair attendance.
Seyedin said that the fair is one of the top platforms for international investment and trade in the world.
Xiamen Daily reported that the business association and its constituencies achieved great success attending the fair’s previous 13 sessions, each year signing contracts worth $2 billion.
A higher rate of realization also existed in the contracts signed at the fair by AmCham South China and its members with other parties.
