Adhering to the “market-oriented, professional and international” concept, the 9th China (Xiamen) International Recreational Fishery & Aquarium Expo in 2016 (herein after referred to as XRFAE 2016) was held in Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center on 28-30 October, 2016. Under the active guidance and support of the People's Republic of China Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Bureau, the Expo is organized by China Fisheries Association, Fujian Provincial Department of Ocean and Fisheries, Xiamen Municipal Government, and operated by Oceans and Fisheries Bureau of Xiamen, and Valuedshow (Xiamen) Management LLC. With the largest scale, the endless arrays of beautiful exhibits bring citizens a visual aquatic feast.

    In recent years, Xiamen has paid hign attention to the development of recreational fishery and aquarium industry. At present, Xiamen published the first National recreational fishery industry plan and built a number of related projects. Recreational fishery industry in Xiamen has achieved great result and more achievement will be attained in the future.
